刚刚从 CH 那里听到了这首歌 《Viva La Vida》


如果我没记错的话，其实 CH 已经介绍过这首歌了…… :P
我上载了另外一首歌，是 Viva La Vida 和 Love Story 合奏的乐曲，也是我很喜欢的一首乐曲~
好奇心作祟的我，又去找了找 viva la vida 是什么意思了……

viva la vida 是西班牙语，意思是“永久的生命”或者“生命万岁”
有不少人对这首歌的歌词都很感兴趣，做出了不同的意思揣测

无可否认，歌词透露了基督教圣经里头的部分情节
尤其第二句 Seas would rise when I gave a word，就道出了耶稣使得大海开出了一条路让犹太人逃难的情节
同时，Jerusalem 也是基督教的圣地
因此，有些人揣测，那是关于耶稣被处死之前的那种无奈心情

另外，也有人说，那是拿破仑死前的感想
那是因为，拿破仑曾经统治法国
然而他是个暴君，所以当他死前，人民高喊：新王万岁！
他也知道 Saint Peter 不会放他上天堂

更有人说那是法国资产阶级革命爆发后，路易十六与王后玛丽•安东尼特以里通外国的反革命罪和阴谋复辟罪被处以死刑前的情景
* 原来法国是最早发明断头台的处死法，而歌词中出现的 silver plate，就是指断头台

然而，最终，有人访问过 Coldplay 队员，他们对歌词做出的解释是：
歌词是指某位国王失去了他的国家，但是并不针对任何一位国王
主要的歌词意义在于某个时代的革命党和游击队的思想
歌词里有当时革命党的反政府意识，可是他们最终依然牺牲了
